Well, now that Mardi Gras is over and the economic Stimulus Bill is passed, we can all get down to brass tacks and get some work done without distractions. Here at the IT Specialist Career Center, we have started a contest to help drive membership and attract more recruiters, and thus jobs postings on our site. The Contest offers members a chance to win Jan Vermeiren’s guide to Linkedin titled, How to Really Use Linkedin (see image below). We have also implemented a secure logon for both of our sites; our Career Center (IT Specialist.info) and IT Specialist.com. You can now use your Windows Live I.D. and/or Open I.D. to logon to each site without having to remember your logon credentials each time you visit our sites. If you previously registered with our Career Center or with our main portal, you can still use either of the single sign-on credential services. Just click on either button on the splash or login page and follow the directions to link your Open I.D. or Live I.D. to your existing IT Specialist credentials. It’s a one-time process and takes only minutes to complete.
